SORRY :(

Well, Kristin strikes AGAIN! This time though, I cannot claim that I have never been there, because I have been to the Sunshine Farms before so I should have went right there. And not led this mini adventure in the middle of nowhere that was "fruitless" for many...(ha, I know I'm just so darn funny!)

So our adventure in strawberry picking didn't turn out as planned, as you might have guessed from these starting comments. I was leading the line of cars, I had planned this trip and so I'm very sorry and do take full responsibility for this outing(well not enough to offer everyone gas money, but at least I wasted my own as well as everyone else's). The directions are wrong that are on their website and that is the excuse I am sticking to! We kept having to turn around, park and ask for directions. Then we needed to call and I had no signal. But thankfully San is well equipped with Verizon and of course - they have service everywhere - so when we finally called to make sure we were on the right road (because we thought we were lost again) they told me they were closed today b/c yesterday they were "picked out." How crazy is that??? I called on Monday, but I guess everyone else in the vicinity had my same brilliant idea to pick strawberries this week. Sorry, I should have called last night to make sure they had enough.

Some of us did end up with some delightful berries from their produce stand on another exit and Shannon and I found the best Burger King playland of ALL time. So at least Damen and Josh ended up having a fun time playing together.

Good news for those who didn't go...

Bad news for me if I ever want anyone to trust my navigational skills again!
